Type Tuesday, 5th February 08

I got a copy of Empty magazine the other day, and read an article about Silja Goetz, a design trained illustrator from Madrid, who uses old fashioned scissors and glue to create her collaged works. She also incorporates lots of text, 'a little tribute to [her] education as a graphic designer', she says. Her website is really worth a look around as the images above don't show the full range of her work, which includes magazine and newspaper work, typography and a 40 meter mural at Vienna airport. xxxx
