More Before and After t-shirt designs
Here's a shirt design I did for withoutpockets.com, and some changes I made afterward. Similar colours to the crystal drawing I did a couple of nights ago.

Snakes and Ladders
I did this vector drawing a couple of weeks ago, and I'm in the middle of another one which I'll post when I'm finished. I started with a wireframe from a 3D model I made and did lots of adding and subtracting of lines, and then added other elements, like the snakes heads and the pink pathways. All done in Illustrator. Original 3D wireframe was done in Cinema 4D.

More Fabric Swatches
I found this great book at the Powerhouse Museum called 'Naturally 70's Fabric'. All these images are from the book, but unfortunately it doesn't list the name of the fabric designers. It lists design houses: American Fabrics, Lois Epstein, Shirley Freidland, Knoll Textiles, Irene Sladewski, the Ursuline College Resource Library, and several anonymous sources. The authors of the book are Constance Korosec and Leslie Pina (Schiffer Publishing Ltd and Design, 2000).
Fabric Swatches
I've been looking at some amazing fabrics swatches lately. This lot are described as 'pictorial', because they don't use repeat patterns, but rather work as stand alone images on the fabric. They are from different places, mainly Scandinavia, with the exception of the Pucci bag:
1. Josef Frank 2. Emilio Pucci 3. Jenni Tuominen for Marimekko 4. Fujiwo Ishimoto for Marimekko.
Land of Crystals
Just in the middle of planning our trip North next week. We're going to spend a couple of days in Byron and Mullumbimby - which is a great spot for crystal shopping. I did this drawing in front of the telly last night without a mouse, so it's a bit messy - but I like the colours. I might make it into something more comprehensive later.

Hello Kitty Smiles
Hmmm, as I have time off looking after a new bub, I thought it would be a good time to document all the stuff I've been up to lately - mainly graphics, but no doubt other things too. I wasn't sure whether to put any personal things on-line, but because it's in the context of 'graphics' and 'character design', here's some photos of Lukas, showing how he has the same crescent shaped eyes as the characters from the Hello Kitty community. All the Hello Kitty images are from sanriotown.com, the Hello Kitty Online World.
